In the 2017/18 academic year, the study program in English will be supported by the Engineering studies in IT – internationalised study programme offered by the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan (ESIT) project. A group of Polish students as well as 18 foreign students will be admitted to the program. The foreign students will be provided with:
- Scholarships which cover housing and living expenses in Poznan during the whole study program (7 semesters = 35 months)
- Additional catch-up course combined with orientation classes before the start of the first semester (in September 2017)
- Extra support from ESIT staff.
In September 2017, a 2-week summer school will be organised for the ESIT participants and is scheduled to run from September 17 until October 1, 2017. It will include classes in Polish and English, catch-up courses in mathematics and computer science, AGILE/SCRUM workshops, as well as an orientation meeting which includes a Poznan sightseeing tour.
During the studies, ESIT participants will be provided with free training courses to develop skills and competences desirable in the labour market as well as traineeships in leading information technology companies.
The most important duty of ESIT participants is to complete the study program within due time!
